    • You can register online at www.japan4youth.com/registration or reserve the trip for 3 days.
    • After the online registration/reservation, we will send you all the documents again by email for review.
    • If desired, you will also receive information about travel insurance and their terms and conditions with the email.
    • For the final registration, please sign 3 times:
      1. Sign the information sheet “Pre-contractual Information”
      2. Sign the registration form
      3. Sign the travel insurance form
You can send the documents back as a scanned PDF or photo (jpeg).
    1.2 Deposit 250 Euros
    • Deposit for the trip: 250 Euros plus any costs for travel insurance.
    • Payment is requested within 7 days after you have received the invoice for the deposit along with the security certificate.
    • If you register for a trip very early, you will first receive a provisional registration confirmation, and the invoice for the deposit will be sent a few months later.

    2. Passport, Visa, Visit Japan Web

2.1 Passport & Visa (No Visa for EU Citizens)

For entry into Japan as a tourist, EU citizens and Swiss nationals do not require a visa on our trips. They only need a passport that is valid for at least six months after the end of the trip. Please check your travel documents in advance. Citizens of other nationalities are asked to contact us before registration regarding the entry requirements. We will then send you the regulations for their entry.

    2.2 Visit Japan Web

For faster entry into Japan, you can complete the entry form and customs declaration in advance via the “Visit Japan Web.” Details can be found in our Japan Information booklet, which every participant will receive before the trip.
As of 2025: The Visit Japan Web is not yet mandatory. If it doesn’t work, stay calm and fill out the forms at the airport. Entry will take a bit longer, but the bottleneck is usually the baggage claim, where everyone will meet again.

    3. Health, Vaccinations, Travel Insurance

    3.1 Health, Vaccinations

Vaccinations are not mandatory. The Health Department of the German Foreign Office (Travel Advisory Search for all countries) recommends the following as sensible vaccination protection: protection against tetanus, diphtheria, polio, and hepatitis A. Further detailed information can be obtained directly from the German Foreign Office or from the Embassy of Japan.
Unfortunately, this trip is not suitable for individuals with limited mobility.

    3.2 Travel Insurance

You can inform us in advance (info@ulurus.de) or when registering that you are interested in travel insurance, and we will send you all the necessary information before you make your purchase.

    We recommend the following:

    • Trip Cancellation Insurance (Cancellation Insurance)
    • Travel Health Insurance

Trip cancellation insurance covers the cancellation costs of the trip if you fall ill before departure and cannot participate in the trip.

Travel health insurance covers medical treatment costs for sudden illnesses that occur during the trip.

You can obtain these insurances through an insurance provider in your country or through your tour operator.

We will gladly send you the latest details and costs for our insurances.
